This book was written very well done, especially considering the story was told in 4, yes four, points of view. It is a story based on a historical event that was tragic, so there are some sad parts to it. It is worth reading, however, with the variety of story tellers enriching the historical fiction. Each narrator has a secret and their personal tales unfold as the story is told. They all start off in different places, and building one character at a time, their stories come together in one location. I am amazed how the author could track so many narrators, especially since three of them travel together and portray information about others in their group. I highly recommend this book.
